Dale Oesterle (corporate law, securities regulation) at the University
of Colorado at Boulder and Larry Garvin (contracts, commercial law) at
Florida State University had accepted positions at Ohio State University.
OSU’s score in this category (2.7) would presumably improve as a
result. In addition, William Bratton in corporate law at George Washington
University has an offer from Georgetown; if he accepts, Georgetown’s
score would presumably improve somewhat, and GW would likely drop off
the “runner-up” list.
